Lefort’s range of shears include mobile, static and portable versions with cutting forces of up to 1000 tonnes, static versions of larger shears which have a shear force of up to 2000 tonnes. The patented wrap-around (TS) box is available on all machines. The large curved lids of the TS box fold the metal into a log. This metal log is cut to length by the shear head or compressed into a bale. T machines have the option of a side compression (BL) box on Koloss models. All shears have both a shearing and baling action, balers can rapidly compress a range of materials in to a heavy, dense bale and can be fitted with crane and remote control. the new LMS shears can be fitted to all common material handlers and are ideal for demolition work.
